It is the policy of nation Transport & Contracting Company that work is carried out in a manner of compliant with the United Arab Emirates industrial safety and health regulations.
The responsibility for implementing health and safety policies rests with the project manager who, in turn, is accountable to the company executive board. Effective implementing and operation of these policies shall be kept under constant review by the company management who shall receive information from the project manager and HSEM concerning accidents, dangerous occurrence and overall safety performance.
Within the framework of these policies, all employees have a part to play in maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and in achieving full compliance with legal requirements.
The basic need is for every employee to take care of him or herself, colleagues and members of the general public.
A project manager is responsible for ensuring that all the employees receive the necessary training to carry out their duties in a manner compliant with the above regulations and that the staff charged with particular responsibilities for health and safety are able to fulfill those duties and obligations.
This policy forms the basis for a reduction in hazards, elimination of risks and an improvement in health and safety at work. Its effectiveness will be derived froms ach individual and combined efforts of everybody to ensure its success.
